Please support Hollywood Least Wanted, here is what they are all about:

Hollywood Least Wanted is a 501c3 non for profit arts organization whose goal is to make a difference in the community where it exists, both in Hollywood and in the larger Los Angeles community. HLW sponsors produces and publicizes charitable arts events that raise funds for organizations that serve the underprivileged, victims of abuse, homeless teens and abandoned animals, as well as other deserving recipients.

Hollywood Least Wanted marries its founders’ passion for the arts with their commitment to improving the community where they live. Co-founders Rachel Schmeidler, Merritt Hicks and Brigid Ryan attended Carnegie Mellon University together, where they bonded over their shared passion for the arts and their desire to transcend the traditional boundaries between the performing and visual arts. After graduation, they moved to Los Angeles, where they became aware of the gulf between the glamour and celebrity of Hollywood and the reality of poverty and suffering that afflicts so many in Los Angeles.

Hollywood Least Wanted started with events to benefit homeless and abandoned animals (a passion of Rachel’s) and has subsequently expanded its focus to include events that assist the homeless, runaway teens, and other worthwhile causes. HLW is always looking for new partner organizations with whom it can collaborate on innovative charity arts events. Hollywood Least Wanted’s founding board members also include Katy Winn, a photojournalist specializing in fashion and entertainment, Ju Park, managing partner of Parsus LLP, a Los Angeles law firm.
